Pet Portraits

14” x 14” Acrylic Painting: $250* + cost of shipping

16” x 20” Acrylic Painting: $300* + cost of shipping

. . . background elements: $10–50 (based on complexity)

Please read the Terms of Service below before submitting your commission request! It includes all the info you’ll need about payment, process, my rights as the artist and your rights as the commissioner. For commercial work inquiries, email me.

Terms of Service

1. General:

  • I have the right to deny any commission request.

  • All artwork will include a signature that you may not remove or cover.

2. Payment:

  • I accept payments through Venmo. Please don’t pay before I’ve accepted your commission. I will let you know when any payments/fees are due.

  • Commissions are paid 50% upfront and 50% + cost of shipping after final sketch has been approved (before painting begins). If requested, I can calculate the cost of shipping for you before any payment is made.

  • Pricing is subject to change depending on demand. I will confirm pricing before beginning the commission.

3. Process & Delivery:

  • Once I receive the initial 50% payment, I will show you a rough, colored sketch of your commission (outline of forms, clothing, etc).

  • You will have 2 rounds of revisions to approve of a final sketch. Please be as detailed as possible with your revisions, I want you to love your piece!

  • I may charge a fee for additional revisions after the 2 rounds (based on an hourly rate).

  • Once you approve the final sketch, I will request the remaining 50% + cost of shipping payment before beginning the final artwork.

  • I will check in with you at various stages while creating the final artwork. You may request minor revisions. I will try to accommodate all requests, but you may be charged a fee (based on an hourly rate).

  • Timing for completing artwork varies 1 - 2 months (not including shipping). We will discuss timing before any work begins.

  • Once the artwork is finished, I will mail it your way!

4. Copyright & Usage:

I, Jordan Patterson (the artist):

  • I retain all copyrights over the artwork.

  • I reserve the right to post videos and/or photographs of the final artwork (including the process creating the artwork) on my social platforms and portfolio.

You (the commissioner):

  • You retain all intellectual property rights over the artwork.

  • You may upload the artwork on any website or social platform.

  • You may NOT make profits from the commissioned artwork or use it for commercial purposes. Email me if you are interested in requesting commercial work.

  • You may NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist's) permission.

5. Refunds & Cancellations:

  • The commissioner may request a refund before final sketch approval.

  • To request a refund, the commissioner will email Jordan Patterson (the artist). If approved, I will refund you on Venmo.

  • Refunds are NOT permitted once I have started the final artwork.

  • If I am somehow unable to finish your commission, you will receive a full refund.

If the commissioner breaks any of these terms, they forfeit all rights to the artwork and I (the artist) regain the right to profit further from the artwork. Some terms are negotiable and may be discussed before I accept your commission request.
